Tour Itinerary
Pick up from Kolkata Airport on 08:35AM on and drive to Godkhali. Arrival at Godkhali Jetty at 11.30AM ( 3.5 Hrs Journey Time ) ( Here the road journey ends and the boat journey begins to reach the beautiful Sundarban). Board in the boat and depart for Sundarban Wildlife Resort, Dayapur Hotel. On the way you will see the island of Gosaba which is the biggest market for hundreds of villages around. At around 01:30PM you will reach Dayapur and check in at (The resort is located right opposite the Sundarban Tiger Reserve Forest separated just by River Pitchkhali )
After lunch at the hotel you will depart by boat to visit Jatirampur, a place well known for its bird calling and sunset view. While doing the evening cruise, guests may also see a glimpse of fishermen catching fishes, crabs from the river banks.
Around sunset, return to the resort for hi-tea and snacks. Evening Get-Together with Bonfire (winters only). Folk Dance by Local Artists ( The Adibasi tribe inhabitants of Dayapur Island sing and perform, organize tribal folk dances) / Wildlife Documentary About Sundarban. After Dinner relax at the resort. Overnight at the Hotel.
After breakfast we start a thrilling Boat Cruise after getting required permissions and forest approved guide from the forest office and we will enter into the world's largest mangrove forest rich with flora and fauna. This boat cruise will last till sunset and during this period you will visit 3 watch towers namely Sajnekhali, Sudhanyakhali and Dobanki. During the tour your will visit Sajnekhali Tiger Project, Crocodile Project, Turtle Project, Mangrove Interpretation Centre, Bono Bibi Temple, Canopy Walk, Pirkhali, Gazikhali and other narrow creeks and Pancha Mukhani [ Five River Confluence ].
Today you will cruise in the small channels and creeks and you can spot different wildlife, spotted deer, wild boars, civet cat, mother lizard, crocodiles, dolphins and of course Royal Bengal Tigers.
Please note today breakfast, lunch and other refreshments will be cooked and served on the boat and at 05:30PM you will return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Today breakfast will be served at the hotel. After breakfast there will be a small walk in the village for pictures of sunrise, mangroves, village and birds. After Lunch you will start a boat journey to return to Godkhali and from Godkhali you will start your journey to Kolkata by AC Car and at 05:00PM you will reach Kolkata.
